Set the Scene

This page, account, blog, and everything to follow is to accomplish a goal. Sail the Caribbean the summer of 2025. What follows is everything the has to happen prior to this endeavor being accomplished, from an absolute beginner. I have almost 0 sailing or boating experience, don't come from a sailing family, don't own a boat, nothing.
My intent is to make this a journal, log, and repository for everything needed to go on this adventure. Once all preparation and planning has been accomplished, I'll do my best to maintain the log while on my adventure.
What makes me think that I can even accomplish this? I love setting goals, and accomplishing them; the bigger the goal the better. In the past few years I've had a lot of fun with goal setting and goal achievement. Sometimes to goal takes weeks, sometimes months, and in this case it will take years to accomplish this goal.

In order to help accomplish this goal, there are a few things I'll be doing to help facilitate this goal.
Establish tridentbeach.com as the venue for people to interact with me, and this adventure.
Produce the ability to interact- blog posts, email updates, video/short form, like/share, etc.
Provide an avenue to show support- by following on social media, direct support, participating on a leg/passage, or buying from our online store which supports this goal directly.
Recruit assistance from those that will be playing an integral role in accomplishing this feat. Help maintaining orders and fulfilment of the store, maintaining social media, and helping me with communication (my great weakness).
